Heres a simple solution.
Close VB.
Open regedit.
Go to the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib{EAB22AC0-30C1-11CF-A7EB-0000C05BAE0B}1.1win32" branch and change the default value from
"C:WINDOWSsystem32ieframe.dll1" to
"C:WINDOWSsystem32ieframe.dll"
this will allow you to use the internet control again!
